I think I understand it more , just sometimes ill get confused . But I do understand it more than before .

  2. What suggestions did the author make about using a low ISO? To use this when you do have good lighting , so you can get good quality .
  3. What suggestions did the author make about using a high ISO?To set it when you outside or inside at night , or when you want to freez the motion .
  4. At the camera near you, please tell me what ISO's are available on your camera?

1. The pictures were beautiful, they where like if you where actually there.
What was your favorite photo? Describe it and tell me why its your favorite
The one with the Giraffe & tree , Is had a tall tree that seems so perfect , with a big tall Giraffe , seeing out into the area.

Look up the photographer –
a.     What kind of camera did he use? He uses a Pentax 67II with only two fixed lenses

b.    What is his reason for taking the photos? he says : I'm not interested in creating work that is simply documentary or filled with action and drama, which has been the norm in the photography of animals in the wild. What I am interested in is showing the animals simply in the state of Being. In the state of Being before they are no longer are. Before, in the wild at least, they cease to exist. This world is under terrible threat, all of it caused by us. To me, every creature, human or nonhuman, has an equal right to live, and this feeling, this belief that every animal and I are equal, affects me every time I frame an animal in my camera. The photos are my elegy to these beautiful creatures, to this wrenchingly beautiful world that is steadily, tragically vanishing before our eyes.

c.     What is his hope by taking these types of photos? Getting the animals spirt .

d.     Find something he has to say about Africa and post the quote on your blog

Academic Shoot Reflection

1. What challenges did you encounter while trying to get the photos following the rules I set out for you? I was trying to make the picture perfect and I kept on like not thinking a lot abouto the 6 rules .

2. What technical aspects of photography or the assignment in general (focus, framing, holding the camera, etc.) did you find yourself thinking about the most? Provide a specific example of what you did to do this correctly.
I tried to focus the camara , making sure all my pictures came out clean & crisp.

3. If you could do the assignment again, what would you do differently now that you know some basic rules of photography?
I think I would try to be more observment and try to get better pictures.

4. What things would you do the same?
Hold my camara & following the rules of how to do certaing things.

5. When you go out with your next set of prompts, which rule do you think will be the easiest to achieve?
I think framing.

6. Which rule do you think will be the hardest to capture?
The Rule of Thirds .

7. What rule are you still not totally clear on and what can you do to figure out what that rule is?
Balance & rule of thirds .

Lines
How well did you follow the rule? I think I did pretty good .
What is the subject (be very very specific)? Yes you can tell right away its lines.
Is it clear to people looking at your photos what the subject is? Yes .
If you didn't follow the rule well, what could you have done differently? I could've gotten closer.

Merger
How well did you follow the rule? I could of been better.
What is the subject (be very very specific)? The subject is the pole growing out of the girls head.
Is it clear to people looking at your photos what the subject is? Yes because its a merger.
If you didn't follow the rule well, what could you have done differently? Well i wasnt suppose to follow the rule.

Balance
How well did you follow the rule? I didnt do that well
What is the subject (be very very specific)? Its the trees .
Is it clear to people looking at your photos what the subject is? Maybe if they knew what I was trying to get out of it .
If you didn't follow the rule well, what could you have done differently? Probably choosen something else , like 2 different things

framing
How well did you follow the rule? I can always improve.
What is the subject (be very very specific)? Its the girl who is framed by the boreder of the doors .
Is it clear to people looking at your photos what the subject is? Yeah
If you didn't follow the rule well, what could you have done differently? I think I did good.

Rule of Thirds
How well did you follow the rule? I could've choosen a better setting and stuff.
What is the subject (be very very specific)? The girl walking down the hall .
Is it clear to people looking at your photos what the subject is? Yeah.
If you didn't follow the rule well, what could you have done differently? I could've tried getting the lines directly on the subject.

Simplicity
How well did you follow the rule? I think i did pretty well.
What is the subject (be very very specific)? The subject is the stairs.
Is it clear to people looking at your photos what the subject is? Yeah , I mean its right there.
If you didn't follow the rule well, what could you have done differently? I could've maybe tryied to get not so much stuff.

Filling the Frame
Fills the frame because the picture has action and it like grabs your attention.
Action/Emotion
It can be either or , because it has action as in the bubble and there doing the expirement, but also emotion , because there happy & exited.
 Tells a story.
Because all the guys are holding hands , maybe maditating or praying or giving thanks & having a moment of silence.

Post Shoot Reflection .

1. What challenges did you encounter while trying to get the photos of your first 3 prompts (Red, Metal, Grumpy? I didnt know what kind of red he ment like , read or red. They sound similar, and also I tryed finding unique photos & couldnt really see any.

2. What technical aspects of photography or the assignment in general (focus, framing, holding the camera, etc.) did you find yourself thinking about the most? Provide a specific example of what you did to do this correctly. I thought of focusing , and framing making sure the picture looked nice and not blury. I made sure that the manuel thing was on . And standing straight. And trying to find pictures out of the ordinary.

3. If you could do the assignment again, what would you do differently now that you know some basic rules of photograhy? Make sure the manuel focus was on because it was off. To think more about the assignment.

4. What things would you do the same?
Taking pictures of people, they mostly gave me the 3 things.

5. Finally - go back and edit your blogs with the 3 photos (red, metal, grumpy), tell me what rules of composition (which you just learned about) did you end up actually achieving? Did you have any?
I think i had framing . And some one i dont think had any.

6. Are you interested in shooting those prompts again, why?
Sure i wouldnt really mind, it was fun beacause you technically could take a picture of anything and it would apply.

Extra Credit .

The picture is so sad to even look at, knowing people did not have any other choice then to just jump off. This man had so much strenght not to jump off scared. But he did it gracefully, as if he was flying. Its still sad to look at but it gives you somekind of relief he went away, with such grace. It hurts to know that this what happen 10 years ago.

Name of the Technique.

Simplicity.
Its simple all it had is the building. And the smoke its not full of cars, planes, or people.
 The Rule of Thirds.
Its a good picture because you can see that the rule applies, because the picture is set in the points

 Lines.
The flag has lines and it has red & white.
 Balance.
The treees balance out the picture. Giving it almost like a focus.

Framing.
Its has like a frame like feature. And the building frame the other buildings.
Avoiding Mergers.
It has the trees , but it doesnt look like it growing out of them.
 Metal.
It could be simplicity.

Red .
This one could be framing because the doors act as a frame.
Grumpy.
I think this is just simplicity, it simple.

The fire you see hear is unbarable to look at , its so sad knowing people homes are being hurt. And theres not much we can do about it. We cant stop this fire that just seems to go stronger as we go weaker.
